Title

St. Clare, 1950-1958

Description

Originally founded by Franciscan priests for ministry to African Americans. Members wished the mission to grow into a full parish, but it never obtained financial stability. The mission merged into St. Teresa Parish in 1958. Today the building is used by St. Teresa as a community center and food mission.
